Drusilla Talley-Williams held onto a dream for years, a dream that finally unfolded during one of the most challenging times in recent history. Drusilla's journey began in the corporate world, where she thrived as an HR Consultant and a licensed Real Estate Agent and Investor in the vibrant city of Atlanta. Her life was woven with diverse talents and experiences, yet her heart yearned for something more profound.
Then, the world came to a standstill during the COVID pandemic. During this global crisis, Drusilla decided to follow her heart's calling. She embarked on a journey to become a filmmaker, a bold leap into creativity and storytelling. Her driving force was a fervent desire to share the triumphant stories of everyday people. Drusilla firmly believed that within these stories, someone, somewhere, would find solace, realizing that they are not alone in navigating life's intricate tapestry.
However, Drusilla's journey transcends her career transitions. She is also a spiritual seeker and counselor, weaving her diverse background into her life's purpose. Her unwavering commitment to helping others heal and thrive is evident in every facet of her life.
But what truly defined Drusilla was a pivotal moment during the COVID pandemic. Amid the chaos, with six close family members hospitalized and two passing away, she experienced something extraordinary. Drusilla found herself enveloped in a profound peace that transcended all comprehension. During this trying time, she discovered an unwavering faith in a higher power guiding her through her darkest hours.
Drusilla's spiritual journey has been profoundly enriched by the wisdom of remarkable mentors. Jennifer Hadley, in particular, played a pivotal role in helping her translate the profound principles of A Course in Miracles (ACIM) into practical living. She also draws inspiration from luminaries like Abraham Hicks and Mooji.
Amidst her bustling life, Drusilla finds solace and connection in the simplest of things: nature, meditation, and yoga. Yet, what she cherishes most is the practice of being present with an open heart and an open mind. She strives to share this quality with others, offering a glimpse into a life rich in mindfulness and compassion.
As a part of the Five Lemons Laughing Podcast, Drusilla and her fellow hosts provide a unique perspective on living according to the teachings of A Course In Miracles—a life without judgment and filled with deep compassion. Drusilla feels a profound connection with each podcast host and knows they will continue to grow together in their vision of unity and shared experiences.
In gratitude to all who listen to the podcast, Drusilla says, "I couldn't be more appreciative of those who tune in to listen to these sometimes silly, sometimes serious women living out complex lives of spousing, parenting, working, and growing just like everyone else. Our love and support for each other make the world seem safer. I believe I am more vested in ensuring there is a lot more love in the world because we have chosen the path of being the light for each other. And I am confident that it shines through to the audience."
